With a combined 30+ years of experience in the coffee industry and many competitions under their belt. Manhattan Coffee Roasters was founded by Ben Morrow and Esther Maasdam with one clear goal: to source and roast some of the most mind-blowing and exceptional coffees from like-minded producers. We source all our coffee ethically and responsibly and work with producers who use sustainable and innovative practices from farming to processing. We thrive off of close relationships and community – bringing together people and coffee across all levels of the supply chain.

Founded in 2017, Manhattan Coffee Roasters is based in The Netherlands harbor city of Rotterdam. Our name is inspired by the history of Rotterdam and, in particular, the Holland America cruise line that sailed from New York City to the harbor of Rotterdam. The city is locally known as “Manhattan aan de Maas”.
